Top prize winners
The two top prize winners for the annual Carroll Elementary School PTO fundraiser are pictured. Kelby Jones left, won first place and $125. Next to her is Alyssa Overholser, who placed second and won $75. For the fifth year in a row, CES students sold rolls of trash bags to raise money for school equipment. Students sold over 4,400 rolls, with Jones selling 97, and Overholser selling 78. Nearly $12,000 was earned and will be used to purchase equipment and technology for the students and teachers.
