The annual meeting of the Deer Creek Community Center will be held at the center on Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. Officers will be elected and projects discussed. The Deer Creek Community Center is having a Ham Loaf Supper on Nov. 6 at the Center from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Carryouts will be available.

Kenny and Lona Yeakley have returned from a 10-day trip to North Carolina to visit their son, Benny Yeakley, and family. They have a set of triplets and Kenny and Lona attended an awards program at the children's school.

LonaYeakley's class of 1956 from Zionsville gathered together recently and traveled to Mars Hills, toured the Biltmore House, and then took a train ride through the Smokey Mountains.
