Ada N. Gullion

Ada N. Gullion, 85, of Battleground, Wash., died at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 25, 2007, at the home of a granddaughter in Battleground.

Born Oct. 26, 1921, in Carroll County, she was the daughter of John Roscoe and Estella Linton Denton.

She married Kenneth Gullion in 1974 in Frankfort. He preceded her in death in 1988.

She last worked at The Brethren's Home in Flora, retiring in 1974.

Mrs. Gullion had resided in Battleground, Wash., the past two years.

Surviving are five children. Joseph McCain (wife: Janet) of Flora, Robert McCain (wife: Judy) of Portage, Mich., Earl McCain (wife: Brenda) of Key West Fla., Linda Fleming of Westville, Fla., and Dorothy Keeley of Denver, Colo.; one sister, Helen Anderson (husband: Charles) of Delphi; 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. A daughter and two brothers preceded her in death.

Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon. Visitation will be today (Wednesday) from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Thursday from noon to 1 p.m. Burial will be at Woodville Cemetery in Carroll County.
