Pastor Tom McShannock of Faith Lutheran Church is leading aGrief SupportGroup for anyone who has lost a loved one. The support group is not limited to members of Faith church. The meeting is the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. and at 6:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month at 1 p.m. These meetings are all held at Faith.

The Good Neighbor Gals recently traveled to Fulton for lunch at the Mill Creek Restaurant. Those attending were Betty Bell, Doris Jean Bryan, Deb Delaplane, Dot Fulton, Mary Ellen Johnson, Marilyn Hile, Dottie Delaplane, Ellen Herr and Liz Mylet.

Wayne and Helen Forgey entertained dinner guests recently at their home. Special guests were Bill and Colleen (Downham) Payne of Buffalo, Wyoming. Other guests were Gary and Kim Forgey and Patrick and FredMartin. The Paynes stayed overnight with Fred Martin and the next morning they all ate breakfast together in Logansport.During this time they all celebrated the birthdays of Fred Martin, Helen Forgey and Bill Payne.

Asurprise party was held after worship Sunday at Faith Lutheran Church to honorWilmaRobeson, who has retired after many years as the church organist. She was given a gift from the church and also cards and gifts from the members. As a special treat her daughter,Annalea, and her friend played a specialmusical piece on their flutes. The event was a carry-in dinner with cake and ice cream enjoyed after lunch.
