Members of Delphi Future Farmers of America enjoyed many fun and exciting summer activities this year.

At the beginning of summer, members Morgan Minnicus, Brittany Wise, Cale Rader, Mason Clawson, Alex Conner, Chris Royer and Amber Blackburn attended FFA State Convention in Indianapolis.

Members enjoyed many exciting sessions, workshops, and dances. Chapter delegates Cale Rader and Brittany Wise attended a state dinner during the convention. Nathan Trapp received his State Forage Production Proficiency and Hoosier Degree.

The chapter also traveled to Tennessee for a whitewater rafting trip in June. Thirty members enjoyed beautiful scenery and class-four rapids on the river, which was used for the 1996 Olympics.

Forty-three members were involved in Carroll County 4-H Fair activities including animal care, show preparation and project presentation. Members also enjoyed camping overnight and walking at the Carroll High School track when they raised over $1,200 for the annual Relay for Life cancer event.

Members also volunteered to go to the State Fair to help set up the FFA Pavilion and work one day during the event. They taught visitors about the importance of agriculture and learned new and exciting agricultural facts at the many booths and displays.

Currently members are working and learning at the chapter's test plots cutting, raking and baling hay, as well as harvesting corn and soybeans.
