The Deer Creek Presbyterian Women's Circle will meet Wednesday night at the home of Doris Fouts, The lesson will be given by Kathy Dymek. All women of the church are invited.

The Youth of Faith Lutheran Church are going to donate some of their time to help out at the Emmaus Mission Center. They will be doing some painting and cleaning up out side the buildings.

Golden Girls of Deer Creek met recently at the Walton Freeze for lunch. It is owned by Julie Chambers, daughter of Jane Slusser. Those attending the lunch were Pat and Bob Burnham, Joan Jones of Thorntown, Margy Albaugh, Marilyn Hile and Dot Fulton of Deer Creek, and Betty Gordon of Logansport.

Lavon Johnson celebrated her 94th birthday recently with her family. Those attending were her sister, Ellen Herr, Emmitt and Kay Herr, Kenneth Carter, Kelley Howard and three daughters of Indianapolis, Larry and Barbara Ottinger ofMuncie, Mary Ellen Johnson and Myra Miller.
