Two public meetings approaching

Residents will have the opportunity to receive updated information regarding progress of the proposed Hoosier Heartland Industrial Corridor (HHIC) at a public information meeting Sept. 26 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Delphi Community High School.

INDOT Transportation Commissioner Karl Browning provided an update to local and state government leaders in August. Information can also be found on the INDOT Website at in.gov/dot/projects/sr25study. Historic Resources meeting date changed

To avoid a conflict for those who wish to attend the INDOT meeting, the date of the Carroll County Historic Resources meeting has been changed to Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Wabash & Erie Canal Center, 1030 N. Washington St., in Delphi.

Those who wish to discuss how the county's historic resources are to be protected and continue to be accessible in the future should attend and participate in discussion.
