Family Fun Night set for preschoolers
Comet staff report

Preschoolers (ages three to five) and their parents are invited to a "Family Fun Night."

One will be held at the Camden Early Education Center on Monday, Sept. 24, and the other will be held at Carroll Elementary School on Tuesday, Sept. 25. The events will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The theme for the evening is "apples," and the fun activities will include storytelling, apple sorting, and an obstacle course.

Parents will have the opportunity to meet with kindergarten teachers and learn what children need to know before they start school.

The event is sponsored by Purdue Extension-Carroll County and the Education Task Force of Carroll County at the Crossroads/Focus on the Future. Activities were planned by Extension, several preschool teachers, and kindergarten teachers from both school systems.

For more information, call the Extension Office, 765- 564-3169.
