Students form living flag to honor patriotic anniversaries

      Last week marked the 193rd anniversary of the attack on Ft. McHenry in Baltimore, Maryland. Students at Delphi Community Elementary School gathered near the school's playground to remember the defense of the fort and the writing of the United States NationalAnthem.

County museum may close Jan 1st

      Phyllis Moore, curator of the Carroll County Historical Society Museum, informed the Comet on Tuesday that the museum will likely close as of Jan. 1. She said three members of the Carroll County Council informed her Tuesday that there will be no funding for the museum in 2008.

Camden waits to learn if grant for wastewater improvements will be approved

      A public hearing for a wastewater project was held Sept. 11 prior to the regular Camden Town Council meeting. Amy Miller of Cornerstone Grants Management explained that this is the second time for the town to apply for the Indiana Communities and Rural Affairs Grant.
