Matthew A. Burkhart was charged with theft.

Daniel Zell Jr. was charged with operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license.

Michael Allen Penn was charged with possession of methamphetamine and driving while suspended.

Kristie N. Martin was charged with operating while intoxicated - endangering a person and possession of marijuana.

Scott B. Spencer was charged with cruelty to an animal, criminal recklessness and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Lisa L. Harper, 21, of Gary, pled guilty to possession of cocaine. She was sentenced to two years in jail, one and a half years suspended, and one and a half years supervised probation. Asecond count of possession of paraphernalia was dismissed.

Billy F.Williams II, 32, pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine. He was sentenced to three years in prison. Two other counts against him were dismissed.

A charge of driving while suspended against Michael Scott Bane was amended to no valid license in possession. Upon having admitted the violation, he was fined $25 and court costs.

James S. Prater, 45, of Flora, pled guilty to driving while suspended. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail, all suspended, and one year supervised probation.

Andrew J. Ball, 20, of Yeoman, pled guilty to criminal mischief. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail, all suspended, and 180 days supervised probation.

Jessie R. Swank, 23, of Brookston, pled guilty to theft. He was sentenced to one and a half years in jail, all suspended, and one and a half years supervised probation.

The following cases were dismissed: State of Indiana vs. RebeccaWillis; Carroll County Clerk vs. Edward Hutchinson; Delphi Community School Corp. vs. Amanda Westbrook; DCSC vs. Jason and Heather Fuller; DCSC vs. Terry and Janine Lathrop; Great Seneca Financial Corp. vs. Robert G. Nape; Kova Ag Products Inc. vs. William Shaffer, Shaffer Dairy Farms Inc. and Brandon S. Shaffer; ABF Inc. vs. Brandon S. Shaffer,William Shaffer and Shaffer Dairy Farms Inc.; and State of Indiana vs. Marc A. Galimore.

Judgements were entered for the plaintiff in the following cases: DCSC vs. Anthony and Penny Houser, vs. Carlos and Glenna Garcia, vs. Delia Northern, vs. Jason Myers, vs. Owana Northcutt, vs. Adam Cunningham, vs. Theresa wHarshman, vs. Danny and Christina Hampton; and vs. Carlos Suarez; Keyia Pearson vs. Amber and Christopher A. Wallar; and Kenneth H. Myer vs. John Harter.

For convictions related to alcohol, the following were meted a combination of jail time, with some suspensions, probation with fees, community service, house arrest, participation in a court-approved drug and alcohol program, and suspended and/or probationary driving privileges: Matthew W. Troyer, 24, of Delphi, public intoxication; Kevin L. Jamrosz, 29, of Lafayette, operating a vehicle while intoxicated - endangering a person; and Kevin W. Hinton, 31, of Delphi, public intoxication.

Joshua B. Webster, 22, of Tipton, pled guilty to conversion. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail, all suspended, and 90 days supervised probation.

Ronnie J. Hunt, 20, of Monticello, pled guilty to maintaining a common nuisance. He was sentenced to one year in jail, all suspended, and one year supervised probation.
