Burlington Next Tuesday and Wednesday Burlington Kiwanis Club will take Carroll Jr.-Sr. High School students who have passed the ISTEP test to Burlington Community Park where they will do community service work. Kiwanis Club will meet at 7:30 a.m. Saturday for breakfast and meeting at the fire station. Burlington Area Community Center has a van available to transport people to doctor appointments, shopping, etc. Drivers are provided. For more information, call 765-566- 2674. Gene and Sharon Bray will host a hot dog roast for members and friends of the United Methodist Church at 5 p.m. Sunday. The KentuckyMission Truck will be at the United Methodist Church on Monday. Faith Church of Christ will have its Sunday evening kickoff Sept. 23 at 6 p.m. There will be a wiener roast, activities and studies for all ages. |
