Homeschool basketball registration is announced

Registration for Tippecanoe Tornados homeschool basketball and cheerleading teams for the 2007-08 season has begun and runs through Sept. 23. Registration is open to home-educated boys and girls ages 12 through high school.

Registration forms are available on the Homeschool Unified Sports Teams of Lafayette (HUSTL) Web site at www.hustl.org, or by contacting Steve Leer, HUSTL athletic director, at (765) 471-4973 or by e-mail at tippecanoetornados@ gmail.com.

HUSTL organizes athletic programs for home-educated students in Tippecanoe and surrounding counties. The Tornados compete against other homeschool and Christian school teams from across Indiana and eastern Illinois in basketball, soccer and volleyball.

The Tornados are members of the new State Line Christian Conference.
