Donated for auction
The quilt pictured was the first quilt to be auctioned at the Burlington Fall Festival, in 1991. The pattern is Jacob's Ladder, and it is all hand-stitched. Gene and Sharon Bray purchased the quilt at the 1991 auction, and now they have donated it back, to be auctioned again this year. Proceeds will go to the Burlington Community Club. The 20 ladies who made the quilt are listed on the back, along with the words Burlington Fall Festival and the date, 1991. The quilt will be auctioned at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Fall Festival.
