Library Carroll County on the Same Page is underway with an ongoing dialog of programs and book discussions. This year's selection is Alex Award winner "The Glass Castle" by Jeannette Walls. The Alex Awards are given each year to ten books written for adults that have special appeal to young adults, ages 12 through 18. Copies of this inspirational true memoir are available to check out to any Carroll County resident at all three public libraries in the county - Flora-Monroe, Delphi, and Camden-Jackson. While you're in the library sign up for a library card! September is National Library Sign-Up Month, and the Flora Library wants to remind you that the smartest card is at your library. Library Card Sign-Up Month is a time when libraries across the country remind parents that a library card is the most important school supply of all. The campaign also reminds people that public libraries are partners for vibrant and educated communities, essential for a free people and places of opportunity.
