Faith Lutheran Church will have its annual Pork Chop Supper on Sept 15, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. All are invited. The women of the WELCA will have a make and bake sale including their homemade noodles.

Wilma Robeson of Faith Lutheran Church has been the sole organist now for several years. She has been a faithful servant to the church, serving without pay. The church has hired an organist and Wilma has now officially retired. The new organist is Robert Moore fromWalton. He will start next Sunday.

Helen and Wayne Forgey have returned from Naples, Fla., after attending the wedding of their granddaughter on Sept. 1. Jordon Forgey was united in marriage with Lt. Aaron Huffman at the 1st Presbyterian Church in Naples. Jordon is the daughter of Joe and Cynthia Forgey of Noblesville.

Members of the Deer Creek Presbyterian Church attended the 70th birthday of Dot Smook, formerly of Deer Creek, and her son, Duzy's 50th birthday. The event was held at Geneva Center. Her husband, Pastor David Smook, was a former pastor at Deer Creek Presbyterian Church.

Don and Betty Bell attended a reunion of the class of 1962 of Washington Twp. School. The dinner was held in a restaurant in Rochester. Members from this area also attending were Ruth Ann Coppock and Bryon Carter.
