Local talent to take the stage at library's coffee house

Delphi Public Library's monthly coffee house will feature the talents of local musician Eric Hicks Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. on the third floor mezzanine. Guests should enter the library through the Indiana St. entrance

Coffee will begin brewing at 6:45. The coffee and music are free and the public is invited. Desserts will be on hand for a nominal fee.

Hicks is an acoustic singersongwriter who writes about the everyday things of life from the heart of a smart alec. Although most of his work is original, when he is sitting around in his living room he likes to play Todd Snider, John Prine, Jim Croce and James Taylor.

Call the library at (765) 564- 2929 for information.
