Youth compete nationally

Ablaze Youth Ministries of First Assembly of God Church in Delphi sent 19 youth to compete in the National Fine Arts Competition for United States Assemblies of God held Aug. 7 to 11 at the RCA Dome and convention center in Indianapolis.

Participants from the church were Sharim Pigecella, Rachel Matteson, Jordan Brooks, Candice James, Candace Duncan, Dustin Oliver, Cassi Oliver,Audrey Stalbaum, Bobby Dorn, Brett Rogers, Brad Wolfe, Michael Rogers, Katie Mullin, Ashley Dilling, Joshua Pinkard, CodyMaxwell, DanicaAdams, Monica Adams and Leah Bush.

Competition categories included female vocal solo, vocal duet, short sermon, small human video, large human video, worship team and individual songwriting.

More than 70,000 teens from across the U.S. and Puerto Rico participated in district and statewide competitions leading up the national event.
