Gibsons wed 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Marvin (Mike) Gibson of 216 West Main Street, Flora, are observing their 50th wedding anniversary this week.

Gibson and the former Leona Harris were married Aug. 27, 1957, in Fulton, Miss.

He is a retired house mover. She formerly worked at St. Joseph Hospital, Logansport, and at Peters-Revington,Delphi.

They have six children, Auzeline Barnes and Wonda Trueblood, both of Logansport; Jimmy Owsley of Alabama; Marion Gibson and Marna Wyant, both of Flora; and Marvin J. Gibson Jr. of Indianapolis.

The couple has 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
