Mary Elizabeth Wise

Mary Elizabeth Wise, 82, formerly of Flora, passed away at 11:22 a.m. Friday, Aug. 24, 2007, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center in Delphi.

She was born Dec. 2, 1924, in Elkhart, to Amos and Sarah Royer Wagoner. She attended school in Rossville. On March 2, 1946, in Rossville, she married Robert Wise and he preceded her in death on March 23, 2003.

She was a member of the Flora Old German Baptist Brethren Church.

Surviving are one son, Fred Wise (wife: Linda) of Delphi and one daughter, Jane Oyler (husband: Ed) of Bringhurst; one brother Kenneth Wagoner of Flora; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Darin Oyler, and a great-granddaughter, Marlee Abbott.

Services were held Monday at at the Flora Old German Baptist Brethren Church. Burial was at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Flora.

Reinke Funeral Home, Flora, was in charge of arrangements.
