Lafayette Bank & Trust Company announces Oyler's retirement
Oyler, a James B. Swackhamer Outstanding Agri- Banker Memorial Award recipient and commercial banker for over 25 years, has been with Lafayette Bank and Trust Company since 2001 and was instrumental in establishing the retail banking center in Flora. Under Oyler's direction, the Carroll County Banking Center assets have reached over $60 million in loans and leases and $25 million in deposits while growing to include a staff of eight. Commenting on the announcement, President and CEO Tony S. Albrecht said, "We are all extremely grateful to Atlee for his outstanding leadership and guidance over the past years as market executive of Carroll County. He has hired in superior staff and executives, and simply made Lafayette Bank and Trust Company a premiere bank in this area." "The commitment of Lafayette Bank and Trust Company to the community will continue with the addition of Jay Bush as vice president and commercial banking officer to the alr eady experienced staff to now be lead by Monty Edging." Bush, a lifelong resident of Carroll County, has over 24 years of commercial banking and mortgage lending experience.
Bush, a graduate of Purdue University, the ABA Commercial Lending School, the IBA Commercial Lending School, and the National Commercial Lending Graduate School, started his banking career in 1983 with Camden State Bank. Bush's current civic duties include: member of the board of directors of the Carroll Education Foundation, Carroll County Extension Board, and member and trustee of the Flora United Methodist Church. Bush and his wife, Deb, reside near Flora and have two children, Haley and Lauren. |
