Washington Twp. Deer Creek Presbyterian Church is starting to have its monthly Community Benefit Breakfasts again. The first one is Sept 1 at the church serving from 7 to 10 a.m. The benefits are to help someone who needs help in the community. Everyone is invited. Deer Creek Presbyterian Church is going to an Indian's baseball game Sept 1. The bus will leave the church at 3:30 pm. If interested, call the church office. The Deer Creek Festival was a success. Faith Lutheran Church is helping to send a member of the church, Steve Martin, to Lutheran Seminary in Chicago to pursue a four-year degree. Faith Lutheran Church will have its annual Pork Chop Supper on Sept. 5. Carry-outs will be available. |
