American Legion Auxiliary Unit 413 will meet Monday at 7:00 p.m. in the Legion Home. Hostesses are Helen Cree and Evettta Recher.

Volunteer firemen will meet Monday at 7 p.m. in the Fireman's Lounge.

Blood pressure checks will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Fireman's Lounge.

Mount Zion Lodge No. 211 will meet Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Masonic Temple.

Camden Lions Club appreciation supper is Sept. 5 at 6:30 p.m. at the Delphi United Methodist Church. Call Jill Moudy by Friday, Aug. 31, at 574-686-2277 to RSVP.

Dorcas Missionary Society of the Baptist Church will meet at the church at 6 p.m. Sept. 6, to go to Carroll Manor. Helen Yeager will have the program. Hostesses are Teresa Hensley and Anna Case.

Afoot care clinic will be held Sept. 6 at 3 p.m. in the Senior Citizen's Lounge.

The Camden Fall Festival is Sept. 8 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Among the many activities are: pie baking contest, bubble gum blowing contest, big wheel contest, craft booths, food vendors and town wide garage sales.

Lee Appleton is doing research on the old one-room schoolhouses in Carroll County. Anyone having any information or pictures is asked to please contact Shirley Schock at 574-686-2212 or the Camden-Jackson Township Library at 574-686-2120.

Nine Aim-Hi Extension Homemakers members met in the cottage of SharonAshby for the August meeting. Mary Anne Berkshire was co-hostess and gave devotions. SueWertz won the door prize and Justine Crume won the raffle.
