75-year graduate recognized atMonroe Twp. Alumni dinner
Among those recognized was Robert Clingenpeel of Ft. Myers, Fla. He was celebrating his 75th year since graduation in 1932. He and Frieda Cook Langston are the only two survivors of this class. Clingenpeel attended Bringhurst High School and graduated from Flora High School. For the last several years, he has flown from Ft. Myers to Flora to attend the alumni dinner and talk to his long-time friends. He will be 93 on Sept. 4. President of the Association, Sara Hoffman, Carroll Class of 1986, presented a survey to those attending in an effort to have more alumni participation.
