Silent auction to feature autographed Peyton Manning jersey

The Carroll County community is invited to an open house at the Carroll County YMCA on Monday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. The open house will showcase the facility and its programs.

"We are extremely proud of the many programs and services we provide for youth through senior citizens in Carroll County," said Carroll County YMCA board president Teddy Huffer.

Along with free food, there will be program demonstrations throughout the evening, from gym tykes and biddy basketball to senior chair aerobics. Free seven-day passes will be available and a free fitness evaluation may be scheduled. The newest addition to the YMCA, a game room, will be open, too.

A silent auction will be held for an official autographed Peyton Manning jersey. Other autographed memorabilia from the Super Bowl Champion Indianapolis Colts will be raffled, along with a basketball autographed by Purdue Men's Basketball Coach Matt Painter.

YMCA employees, board members and current members will be on hand to answer questions.

"Come Monday evening and show your support so that the Carroll County YMCA may continue down a path of success for years to come," added Huffer.
