Red Cross seeks instructors The American Red Cross is seeking individuals to be trained as first aid, CPR and AED instructors. Classes will be Sept. 6, 11, 13, 18 and 20 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the American Red Cross Tippecanoe Chapter. Trainees will be evaluated the first day of the course in CPR, AED and first aid skills. A cost is associated with the course. Instructor classes take approximately 20 hours to complete. Once trained, individuals will be authorized to teach. Instructors train their own employees, work as paid instructors for the chapter and volunteer their time. The training and experience may be added to a resume.
