EcumenicalWomen's Retreat approaching

The Ecumenical Women's Retreat Committee of Monticello will host its 20th annual fall retreat at Camp Tecumseh Sept. 14 and 15. Retreat topic will be "HowWorship Touches Our Daily Lives." Registration will be from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The program will conclude at noon Saturday.

Guest speaker will be Paula Gast of Huntington. She is of Lebanese descent, born in Jamaica, christened in the Anglican Church, raised in Missionary Church and has worshipped in many denominational groups.

Gast attained a master's degree in Pastoral Psychology and Counseling from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. She has served for 27 years as a pastor's wife, mother and in various other roles.

Acost associated with the retreat includes two meals and overnight accommodations. A beverage counter and refreshments will be available.
