Deer Creek Festival is Saturday

The annual Deer Creek Festival and Hog Roast will be this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Deer Creek Community Center on State Road 29.

Children's games and contests will be offered from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The fun activities will include a moonwalk, hole-in-one golf, ring toss, bean bag toss, and pyramid toss.

The Carroll County Sheriff's Department will do child fingerprinting from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

A cake walk and bake sale both will begin at 11. The bake sale will continue until 7:30 p.m.

All ages can play bingo from 1 to 3:30 p.m.

Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the all-youcan eat hog roast will be from 4 to 7:30.

Door prizes and raffles will be offered throughout the day.

All proceeds from the event go to the Deer Creek Community Center.
