Jumping back into school
Delphi Community Elementary School students frolic in a bouncing tent under the vigilant eye of physical education teacher Tim Alwine during the school's "kick-off" bash Thursday. Children and their parents enjoyed food and activities while waiting to meet teachers and tour the school. High school football team members attended sporting their black and gold jerseys in support of school spirit. Other activities included a visit by Purdue Pete, rides on the Boilermaker Special, grilled foods by Custom Select, a Delphi Tri-Township Fire Department truck display, a disc jockey and face painting.
