Sign up for Cub Scouts will be Aug. 23 at 6:30 p.m. at the Camden Community Building. All boys in grades 1 through 5 are eligible to sign up. Those unable to attend are asked to contact Mary Clouser at 765- 564-3048.

Winners of the Legion's Tractor Pull raffle contest were Carolyn Edging, 1st prize; Curt Hufty, 2nd; and Dick Emmitt, 3rd.

The annual Little Miss and Mister Contest and Camden Queen Contest will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Community Building. Camden's Little Rising Star will be announced, along with Camden's Golden Star. Judges interviews will be held Saturday morning at 9 at the Community Building.

Camden's Fall Festival will be Sept. 8.

Camden American Legion will meet Monday night at the Legion Home.

Camden Preservation Society will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the Fireman's Lounge.

A fellowship dinner will be held Sunday at the Baptist Church, following Sunday School. Those attending are asked to take a covered dish; meat, drinks and table service will be provided.

Baptist women are asked to contact June Thomas at 686- 2423 or Mary Whitfield at 686- 2553 with items they are supplying for the bake sale booth at the Fall Festival.

Those participating in the town-wide garage sales Sept. 8 are asked to contact Brittany Michel at 686-3328 to have their sale listed on a map. There is no charge.
