Football gets under way

Carroll and Delphi varsity football teams open regular season play Friday night.

The Oracles travel to Central Catholic for a 7 p.m. contest, while the Cougars host Tri-County at home at 7:30.

The following Friday night, Aug. 24, is the annual Bacon Bowl. Carroll hosts Delphi for the 7:30 p.m. game.
