Rodkey 50th anniversary

Rod and Elaine Rodkey, 151 Crescent St., Elkhart 46516, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday.Afamily and friends gathering is planned for Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at Antonio's Restaurant in Elkhart. A DVD of family photographs will be presented at that time.

Rodkey and the former Elaine Wear were married Aug. 18, 1957, at the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in La- Grange, with the groom's father, Frank Rodkey, officiating. She is the daughter of the late Mary and LutherWear of LaGrange and he is the son of the late Frank and Edith Rodkey of Delphi.

After 32 years, Rodkey retired in 1991 from Whitehall Laboratories, Elkhart. Mrs. Rodkey retired from Ash Advertising, Inc., Elkhart, in 2001 after 24 years.

They have two children, Sharon Scott (husband: Matt) of Hampton, Va., and Steve Rodkey (wife: Vicki) of Butler, and five grandchildren.
