Washington Twp. The Deer Creek Presbyterian Women's Circle will meet at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 29 at Betty Minich's home. The chairperson is Mary Smith and Bible study Leader isMary Blue. Faith Lutheran Church will start its choir practice on Sept 5. The Children"s Choir will be on Sept 9. The new season for Sunday Schoolwill also start on Sept 9. All children of the church and community are invited to attend. Sunday School starts at 9 a.m. Pastor Sandy Hutchens is involved in a new prison ministry in northern Indiana called Kairos. This is for family members of prisoners. The Deer Creek Festival will beAug. 25 from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Money is needed to buy pies, so please support your community center. From11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Carroll County Sheriff's Dept. will do finger printing for anyone interested. |
