Burlington Former Burlington resident Florence Bell will celebrate her 100th birthday with an open house on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Deer Creek Community Center. Cards would be appreciated. Her address is: Woodbridge Health Campus, 602 Woodbridge Ave., Logansport, IN 46947. Kiwanis Club will meet Saturday morning at 7:30 at the fire station for breakfast and meeting. Vacation Bible School will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Burlington Church of Christ. The theme is "Animals, Animals, Animals." Burlington Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. Aug. 8 in the town hall. Faith Church of Christ will have Bible Snapshots and Beth Moore "Living Beyond Yourself" study at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 8 at the church. Movie Night at Faith Church of Christ for students in grades 1 to 6 and their parents will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the church. First Brethren Breakfast and Bible Study will be held at 6 a.m. Friday at The Dinner Bell. |
