A Child Car Seat Clinic will be held at Flora Community Park on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. The third annual event is being sponsored by Carroll County Farm Bureau Inc., in cooperation with the Carroll/White County Safe Kids Organization.

Anyone who transports children in car seats should plan to attend with the child or children and their seats. Trained certified technicians will inspect the car seats and give instruction on proper installation.

At last year's clinic 64 car seats were checked and 32 of them were deemed unsafe. Carroll County Farm Bureau replaced all the unsafe seats with new seats.

One of the participants last year was Dana Crum of Frankfort who brought her two young sons, Cooper and Bricker, and their seats to the event last year. Cooper's seat passed inspection, but Bricker went home with a new one.
