Chaps fundraiser set Sept. 22

The annual Chaps Ride/Walk-a-thon will be held Sept. 22. Riders are invited to bring their horses for a twohour trail ride through Camp Tecumseh while walkers and joggers partake in a 5K run/walk.

Everyone involved will meet for lunch with a live charity auction, Chaps demonstration, and awards ceremony.

Chaps is a specialized therapeutic riding program, located at Camp Tecumseh, that provides benefits to individuals with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities. Proceeds from the fundraiser go towards caring for the Chaps therapy horses, such as farrier care, vet check ups and procedures, supplements, feed and hay.
