Congratulations to the cast of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" for lively and colorful performances last weekend. The Stargazers Children's Theatre production involved a cast of 50 children plus numerous adults who helped with set, makeup, costumes and technical aspects of the productions. After each performance, the Friends of the Delphi Library sold Willy Wonka Bars and a prize was awarded to Stephanie Wilson and Matthew Sisson, holders of the bars with a gold emblem inside.

The cast played to a nearly full house on both performances. Plans are already underway for next summer's Stargazer production.

Red Brick Theatre and Stargazers are sponsored by the Friends, which also sponsors the upcoming book sale. The Friends are looking for volunteers to help sort books for the book sale. Anyone interested in helping or for information about the Friends should contact Jayne Abbott at (765) 564-3739. For library information call (765) 564-2929.

Congratulations to Emily Kistler, winner of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" by J.K. Rowling. Emily had the closest guess of how many Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans were in a jar. Second place was Jared Forgey who received the jar of beans! The winners of Muggle Quidditch for the second year in a row were Gryffindor. Fun was had by all muggles as we celebrated the final book release in the Harry Potter series.

The "It's All About the Circus" artwork needs to be picked up by participants. Inquire at the main desk or call the library for more information, 967-3912.

Want to win a trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame? It's only a book away if you participate in the Step Up to the Plate at your library program, developed by the Baseball Hall of Fame, the American Library Association, and the Flora Library.
