Camden American Legion Auxiliary will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at the Legion Home to travel out for the evening meal and meeting.

Volunteer firemen will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the Fireman's Lounge.

Blood pressure checks will be given at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Fireman's Lounge.

Camden-Jackson Township Public Library Board will meet at 7 p.m. Aug. 8 in the Reading Room.

A limited number of mementos from Camden's 175th anniversary celebration are still available at the Camden Town Office. The book, "This Is Camden," by Lee Appleton can be purchased at the library.

Two area churches have new pastors. Guy Studebaker will be serving Lower Deer Creek Church of the Brethren and Paul Marcellino will be serving Camden First Baptist Church.

Camden Lions Club's 57th annual Tractor Pull will be held Aug. 17-18 at the park. The event will start at 6:30 p.m. on Friday and at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. There will also be girls' softball games, food, bingo, and a jumping balloon for kids.

Zackery and Chelsea Whitfield spent last week with their aunt and uncle, Mary Frances and Bob Stilson, of West Lafayette. They spent a few days in southern Indiana.
