Burlington Police Dept.

July 11, 10 p.m. - Marshal Jill Hammond investigated a report of damage to a mailbox by an improvised explosive devise at 112 Stockton St.

July 11 - Property damage accident on SR 29, south of CR 350S. Anna Cripe, Flora, struck a dog that ran in roadway. Deputy Marshal Kevin Hammond investigated.

July 12 - Deputy Marshal Hammond investigated a report of a hog running loose in the area of Heinold Hog Market, SR 29, north of town. Management was contacted.

July 22 - Deputy Marshal Hammond assisted Sheriff's Department with investigation of theft and marijuana at 4679S 450E. Also found small amount of marijuana growing around house. Case is still under investigation.

Delphi Police Dept.

March 18-24 - Theft, Regions Bank. Justin Yard, Delphi, reported his debit card and checks were used without his knowledge and/or consent. Chief Ed Chapman investigated.

June 15, 6:10 p.m. - Telephone harassment. Sandra Cordin, Delphi, reported several calls from an unknown number informing her she won a gas card. Officer Shane Bernhardt investigated.

July 2, 6:45 p.m. - Property damage, Bassett and Talbert on Main St. Jeannie L. Engle, 17, Lafayette, backed into a fuel pump. Officer Paul Vondrasek investigated.

July 6, 4:15 p.m. - Property damage, alley near Main and Market streets. Kimberly Hyman, 47, Delphi. Vondrasek investigated.

July 12, 10:13 p.m. - Invasion of privacy. Kelli Brown, Delphi, reported receiving harassing telephone calls. Bernhardt investigated.

July 16, 8:38 p.m. - Public intoxication and public nudity, alley north of Franklin St. between Franklin and Monroe streets. Hugo Silverio Colquehuanca, 43, Delphi, arrested after police found him leaning against a building in an intoxicated state. Bernhardt investigated.

July 17, 10:10 a.m. - Property damage, US421 near Washington St. Oscar H. Rivera, 22, Frankfort, and Robert L. Bass Jr., 39, Hamlet, N.C. Sgt. Brook McCain investigated.

July 17, 3:10 p.m. - Property damage, Washington St. north of US421. Gordon Ray Peak, 74, Mt. Hermon, Calif. Trailer attached to vehicle Hermon was driving struck another vehicle. McCain investigated.

July 17, 5:07 p.m. - Driving while suspended/prior, Main and Washington streets. Ricky Newton, 35, Lafayette, arrested. Vondrasek investigated.

July 20, 1:20 p.m. - Property damage, US421 and Armory Rd. Harold Underhill, 72, Brookston, and Martha Wabner, 62, Delphi. Chapman investigated.

July 21, 2 p.m. - Car/deer, US421 north of car wash. Phillip Hodson, Flora. Officer Justin Wilson investigated.

July 22, 5:55 - Property damage with injury, SR25 at US421. Michelle L. Helms, 31, Bluffton, and Glen E. Smith, 73, Oxford. Officer David Yeager investigated. Sheriff's Dept.

July 14, 8:40 a.m. - Property damage, SR18 near CR1150W. Ronald L. Lamie, 74, Brookston, and Benjamin J. Tolliver, 19, Lafayette. Deputy John Chapman investigated.

July 14, 2:24 p.m. - Property damage, US421 at Von Hollow Dr. Ashton T. Bell, 16, and Abigail M. Davies, 17, both of Monticello. Chapman investigated.

July 16, 8:23 p.m. - Property damage, CR300W near CR1040N. Marc S. Woodruff, 24, Logansport cited for misdemeanor unsafe speed. Blood alcohol level test pending. Officer Jay Schimmel investigated.

July 17, 2:17 a.m. - Arson, 700 block of CR750N. Fire in Jefferson Township resulted from several large bails of straw being set on fire. Schimmel investigated.

July 19, 10:36 p.m. - Non-criminal information, CR310N. Fouryear old child bitten by dog. Sgt. Mark Back investigated.

July 20, 9:15 p.m. - Property damage with injury, CR100N near CR350W. Robert L. Johns, 18, Delphi. Driver treated at scene by EMS for injury. Back investigated.

July 21, 12:59 a.m. - Criminal mischief, CR575E. Damage to a vehicle in Burlington Township. Reserve Deputy Ryan Browning investigated.

July 21, 3 a.m. - Burglary, 2000 block of US421. Mark Clawson, Delphi, was arrested for burglary, auto theft and possession of paraphernalia. Schimmel investigated.

July 21, 11:24 a.m. - Criminal mischief, Eggs thrown at the residence of Paul Stephens, Bringhurst, between July 20-21. Sgt. Dennis Randle investigated.

July 21, 11:51 a.m. - Harboring non-immunized dog, 2974N. CR930W. Family dog bit a fiveyear old child. Child was transported to Home Hospital. Randle investigated.

July 21, 8:32 p.m. - Criminal mischief, 4500 block of CR350W. Vehicle owned by Christopher Clem in Clay Township vandalized. Schimmel investigated.

July 21, 8:35 p.m. - Non-criminal information, SR18, west of Flora. Damage to a bean field reported by Charles Burton of Monroe Township. Schimmel investigated.

July 22, 1:15 a.m. - Operating while intoxicated/endangering, 400 block of Tippecanoe Ranch Rd. Karsten Cook, West Lafayette, found to be operating while intoxicated. Schimmel investigated.
