Delphi high school fall sports call-outs coming up

Delphi Community High School Athletic Director Vince Burpo has announced the 2007 high school fall sports call-outs and first practice times.

Girls' Golf call-out will be July 27 at 9 a.m. at the Carroll County Country Club. After the meeting, practice will be held until noon. Coach is Bob Tyner.

A football team parent meeting will be held July 25 at 7 p.m. in the DCHS commons. A team meeting will be July 26 at 7 p.m. in the football locker area. First practices will be July 30 at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. John Gasser is coach.

Cross Country's first practice will be July 30 at 7 p.m. at the high school. Coach is Jamie Houser.

Boys' Tennis will practice July 30 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and each day during the same times until the start of school. Joyce Lawton is leading the team.

Volleyball will hold practices at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. beginning July 30. Coach is Bob Kingery.

Soccer will begin practice July 30. Sessions will be from 8 to 11 a.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Jason Patterson is coach.

All student athletes must have a physical before they can participate in any athletic practice according to Indiana High School Athletic Association rules.
