Helen Replogle Helen Whiteman Replogle, 85, of Pleasanton, Calif., formerly of Middlefork and Burlington, died July 2, 2007. Born in Clinton County, she was the daughter of Frank and Edith Cohee Whiteman. She married James Replogle in 1944, and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Replogle received a registered nurse degree from Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. During World War II, she moved to the Panama Canal Zone to work at the Gorgas Army Hospital. She later worked as a public health nurse and county librarian in Jesup, Ga. She was a member of the Pleasanton Presbyterian Church and Jesup First United Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, Jim Replogle (wife: Claire) of St. Charles, Ill., and Randy Replogle (wife: Wendy) of Renton, Wash.; a daughter, Janis Kvaternik (husband: Andre) of Pleasanton, Calif.; three sisters, Louise Huffer of Rossville, Frances Towe of Converse, and Marjorie Rude (husband: Dorville) of Rossville; and three grandchildren. A graveside memorial service was held July 7. |
