Faith Lutheran and Deer Creek Presbyterian churches are joining together to host Community Vacation Bible School. It will be held July 22- 26 at Faith Church. All area children ages 3 to 12 are invited. For more information, contact Rosie Gonzalez at 859-4455.

The children of Eric and Melissa Johnson, Evan and Noah, were baptized Sunday at Faith Lutheran Church.

Faith Lutheran Church has new alter cloths: green presented in honor of Marilyn Hile by her brother and wife, Mark and Ann McNulty of Indianapolis; red presented in honor of Chuck and Phyllis Layman for their 50th wedding anniversary by their children, and purple presented in memory of Bob Gangloff by his family.

Don and Betty Bell had guests over the weekend at their lake home. They were their grandson and wife, Tommy and Theresa Bell and son, James, of South Bend.
