      Nelson K. Allbaugh of Delphi proposed to his long-time girlfriend, Christy Kayser, on 7/7/07. Allbaugh chose the date because 7 is his lucky number, but he chose the place because it is where they starting going together eight years ago.

Perrys celebrate 50th
      Bob and Judy Perry will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house July 29 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Rockfield Community Center. The event will be hosted by their family. Perry and the former Judith Mae Jumper were married July 27, 1957, at the Christian Church in Monticello.
