Goris, Shockey wed

Deborah Goris and Dennis Shockey exchanged wedding vows May 25 at 4:30 p.m. in their barn surrounded by their animals and family. She is the daughter of Bob and Arlene Gangwer of Rossville. He is the son of Lyle and Marjorie Shockey of Delphi.

Mayor Lee Hoard officiated the double-ring ceremony as the bride was given in marriage by her parents.

The bride's daughter, Lana Crum, was her attendant. Attendants to the groom were his daughters, Marjorie Shockey of Lafayette and Amanda Shockey of Stockwell.

A supper was held in the couple's home after the wedding.

The bride is a 1975 graduate of Carroll High School. She is a food services supervisor at Purdue University.

The groom attended Delphi High School. He retired from Rea Wire in Lafayette after 38 years.

The couple has five grandchildren.

After they spend a day at Fair Oaks Dairy July 13, the couple will return home to 3871W. CR200N., Delphi.
