Sunday stroll through Delphi

Marlene Charlesworth will lead a Sunday walk through Delphi on July 15 at 4 p.m.

The walk will start at the Wabash and Erie Canal Interpretive Center on Washington Street, continue through Canal Park, across the Red Painted Bridge, south to Riley Park, across the Suspension Bridge, and back to Canal Park.

Charlesworth said the pace will be easy and appropriate for pushing a stroller, pulling a wagon, or riding in a wheelchair. The walk will last approximately one and a half hours, and walkers are welcome to join (or leave) at any time.

"We will walk on the shady side of the streets," Charlesworth said.

Other hikes coming up are: Saturday, July 21, 2 p.m.; Sunday, Aug. 12, 4 p.m.; Saturday, Sept. 8, 1 p.m.; Saturday, Sept. 15, 2 p.m.; and Sunday, Sept. 30, 3 p.m.
