Burlington Burlington's annual 4th of July celebration will be held today, Wednesday, at the Community Park. A hog roast, run and games will begin at 5 p.m. with fireworks at dusk. There will be no recycle pickup on July 4 or 11. Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. July 13 in the town hall. Faith Church of Christ youth will clean up the park on July 5 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Madonna and John Spratt will present a program on her mission work Sunday at Faith Church of Christ. Women's Missionary Society of the First Brethren Church will meet July 5. |
