LOIS TAYLOR-WOLFE, a certified Nurse Practitioner, is seeing patients at the Royal Center Clinic in collaboration with Stephen Sauer, MD, of River Bluff Family Medicine in Logansport.

Taylor-Wolfe has experience in family medicine, trauma, occupational health and more. She treats both acute and chronic conditions, as well as prescribing medications and therapies for her patients.

Taylor-Wolfe lives in Carroll County with her husband and children and is active in church, scounting, camping, swimming and her children's activities.

Two Lafayette teachers with Carroll County ties recently were among five recipients of Golden Apple Awards, presented annually by the Lafayette-West Lafayette Chamber of Commerce.

They are MICHELLE WEBB and REBECCA COMBS, both teachers at Burnett Creek Elementary. Webb teaches third grade, and Combs, special education.

Webb has been teaching for 17 years, while Combs has been in the profession for nine years.

The Chamber received 100 nominations for 80 teachers. Of those nominations, 24 were chosen to continue in competition for the awards. Winners were chosen by volunteers visiting the classrooms, interviews and essays.

MELISSA RED ELK of Camden has become an independent consultant with Tastefully Simple Inc., a national direct-sales company featuring easy-to-prepare gourmet products.

As a consultant, she offers the company's gourmet foods and beverages to guests at home taste-testing parties. Guests receive samples, easy meal ideas, recipes and serving suggestions.
