      Margaret Lach-Stone of Camden, a teacher at Springmill Elementary School, Washington Twp., Indianapolis, was one of 30 teachers selected for special training at the Math Academy. The Academy was sponsored by Purdue University School of Engineering and ran from June 18 through June 22.

Head Start heads to Carroll Elementary

      After a ten-year partnership with the Delphi School Corporation, Area IV Head Start is relocating to Carroll Elementary. The move is a result of program requirements not coinciding with the changing needs of DCSC. Location, however, will be the only change for the Head Start program.

Participated in State 4-H Chorus
      Three Carroll County 4-Hers were selected to participate in the 2007 State 4-H Chorus. The chorus recently performed for the 88th Round-Up Workshop at Purdue University. They will perform again Aug. 11 at the Indiana State Fair.
