Byers celebrate 50th

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Byers, of 9211N. CR300E., Camden, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house July 1 from 1 to 4 p.m. The event will be hosted by their daughters.

Byers and the former Etta Swank were married June 30, 1957, in Indian Creek Christian Church in Lucerne by Reverend Rollin Hill.

He was employed as a machinist foreman at Small Parts in Logansport for 19 years. She was a housewife and sold Avon for 25 years.

They have three daughters, Vicki Anderson of Lafayette, Judy Yew of Fort Wayne and Linda Ritchie of St. Louis, Mo. They also have six grandchildren.

The couple requested gifts be omitted, but cards are welcome.
