Hebers married 30 years

Mr. and Mrs. Al Heber of Delphi celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary June 5. The couple plans to take a cruise to Norway, northern Ireland and Iceland in honor of the milestone.

Heber and the former Gloria Folkers were married June 5, 1977, at Epworth Methodist Church in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

He is a professor of agricultural and biological engineering

at Purdue University.

She is a former elementary school teacher.

They have six children, Joy, David and Matthew, all of Delphi, Andrew of Lafayette, Noelle of Chicago, Ill., and Nathaniel of Bloomington. The Hebers also have one grandchild.
