Elise S. Klemme

Elise "Elsie" S. Klemme, 100, formerly of Delphi, died June 21, 2007, at St. Anthony Healthcare in Lafayette.

She was born Sept. 26, 1906, in Wea Plains to Albert and Mary Amelia Burkle Sheets. She married Earl J. Klemme on Nov. 11, 1925, in Lafayette.

Mrs. Klemme retired from Purdue University's Animal Science department as a laboratory technician for Dr. Truman Martin.

Surviving are a daughter, Chrystal Ann Johns (husband: Jack) of Delphi, and a granddaughter.

A private graveside service was held June 23 at I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens in Delphi.
